The universe has allways existed,
and allways will.
There is no beginning
and no end.

Life created the concept of time.
In modern advanced lifeforms,
such as humans, pieces of DNA
is sometimes lost when it copies.
This causes aging, and limits
the lifespan of the lifeform.
The lifeform therefore instinctly feels
the urge to use the time it is given
as best as it can to survive,
and to reproduce.
Only something with this kind
of limitation and conciousness
can experience and invent
a concept such as time.
And also, understandibly,
will not easily be able
to comprehend the idea that time,
as we see it, is an illusion.

Time is mere movement of atoms and energy.
If everything stood still,
time would be considered as having stopped.

Why not, then, shouldn't it be possible
to freeze movement of atoms and energy
in a concealed area for a specific amount of time,
and in that way travel forward in time?
Of course, it would be impossible
to travel backwards in time, because to do that,
you would have to reverse the movement
of energy and atoms in the whole universe,
and create a concealed area that wouldn't
interfere with the rest of the universe's
atom's and energy's reverse movement etc.
